• My employees send me their time in so many different ways from excel to written on a napkin. Half the time I can’t read them if I actually get them at all.
• I can’t keep track on of where my employees are half the time. I need a way to know if they are in the office, out with clients or off.
• I have issues with managing leave requests. I try to keep up with it manually but people call or tell me when they see me and I forget to write it down and I don’t know when one of my supervisors has approved someone’s time off.
• I have to create work schedules for my crews and post it, but half the time people don’t look at it and if something changes I have to correct it and re-post it. Then I still can’t count on my employees to write down their schedule.
• My company has grown to the point I can’t review all the time sheets and time cards to make sure they are correct. I don’t see everyone every day so the verification of people’s time involves calling their supervisor to see if they worked when they say they did.
• I need a way to change a group of employees’ time records and move it to a different department or job.
• I hate processing holiday pay. I have to go and make time entries for every employee individually, is there a better way?
• I have a hard time keeping up with everyone’s leave time. I would like a system that will let the employees know what leave time they have left as well as the supervisors who are approving leave time.
• I hate trying to keep track of my employee expense. I don’t get receipts half the time and then when I do they are hard to read because they have been crammed down in their briefcase or they have sat in the sun on the dash of their car until they have practically faded away. I have no way to check their mileage to see if they are accurate. I need an easy way to track expenses.
• We have service employees that travel to our clients and work. I need to know when they get there and what they did.
• We tried a web services for Time and Attendance before, but people were clocking in and out when they were not at work. How can I stop that?
• I want to know when my employees actually get to their job site and when they leave the jobsite for any reason.
• I have employees that come in early and clocks in but they don’t start work until 8am, is there any way I can change their time easily without going to each time record and changing it manually?
• We all take lunch at a certain time and we are all back at a certain time, is there any way we can make their lunch punches for them so they don’t have to punch in and out for lunch?
• Our business is in California and we have special rules for overtime and double time. IT is a real pain to manually keep track of my employee’s overtime and double time.
• I pay my employees a different rate when they perform different tasks. How can I do that automatically?
• My current attendance software charges a lot of money for training and ongoing support, I am afraid to call or email to ask a question. But when I don’t it really messes up my payroll and I have to call them anyway and it costs more, help!
• It cost too much money for a time and attendance system. I have priced it and it averages $5.50 per employee a month.
